The Sansad aspires to create Model Villages at every Taluka (Block) level. These Model Developed Villages would be on the lines of decentralization of power and Rural Empowerment as proposed by Mahatma Gandhi.

Sarpanch is “Sankkarachrya” of Gram Panchayat, a pivot between the Gram Sabha & Panchayat 
Samati/Zilla Parishad. With new amendments to Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Act of 1958 it has 
paved the way for direct elections of Sarpanch from among the people.
